Why Prana?

Because the ancient shamans worked with the 4 elements, in Chinese medicine we work with the concept of QI and in yoga we use Prana.

We are actually talking about the same thing, energy!

Why Mandala?

Because we are going to move at 360° honouring how energy moves!

Prana Mandala is the Yoga that combines elemental philosophy with Chinese medicine. A practice designed to work with specific areas of the body based on the four elements (Earth, Water, Fire and Air) and the 12 main energy channels (meridians) in the body.

In this fun practice we will begin to slowly awaken the body and connect to the element and the Meridians of choice with some Yin.

Then we are going to move in a 360° dynamic Vinyasa sequence around the mat going one pose to another to the rhythm of the breath. To close the practice, we’ll return to yin again to ensure that energy can flow freely and leave the practice feeling balanced.
